“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.  You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.  And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
Deuteronomy 6:4-7
We believe that God, in His word, has placed the primary responsibility for the evangelism and possible spiritual discipleship of children with parents.

No church will ever be an adequate substitute for parents who love the Lord and are committed to both teaching and modeling a lifestyle of obedience to Jesus’ commands.  That being said, no parenting, however faithful, can ever be expected to produce children who love the Lord with all of their heart, soul, mind, and strength.  Children enter the world hating God.  Apart from God’s grace in salvation, no child will ever choose to honor the Lord with their life.  Thus, we want to encourage the sort of parenting that has faithfulness as its primary objective.  Far too much Christian parenting literature is product-oriented and fear-oriented.  We simply have no guarantees that God will bless our parenting efforts by saving our children.  If He chooses to do so, it is an act of free grace on His part. At the same time, we know that God uses means to accomplish His ends.  The family is the primary means that God has ordained to pass the knowledge of Him from generation to generation.  Therefore, we believe that the primary means God uses to accomplish the salvation of children should be the faithful witness of parents.  Therefore, we can be confident that God will be honored when parents faithfully teach their children about the Lord regardless of the outcome.

At CBC, we hope to come alongside parents and help supplement what they are already doing at home. Thus, we desire to equip parents to minister to their children faithfully. There are several opportunities for children to engage in Bible study with other kids their age at CBC.

We desire to teach Biblical truths through activities that are Christ-centered and child oriented for Pre-K children. There are classes on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings that aim to teach children Biblical truths and encourage the development of relationships with others at CBC. These classes include fun activities with music and crafts. We hope to show Christ’s love to each child and family by serving them each week.

We hope to encourage your children in their walk with the Lord by equipping them with the Word of God at a young age. Children are taught to store God’s Word in their heart through memorization and are educated in the full gospel story. We encourage your children to join us for fun and interactive classes on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.

All children classes start at 9:15AM on Sundays and 6:30PM on Wednesdays.

Worship Service

We believe that children are capable of learning and retaining truth from an early age.  Therefore, we encourage our parents to bring their children into our worship service as soon as they are able.  We consider our worship service the primary means of discipleship for all of our faith family.  We believe that God’s word is sufficient and adequate to change lives.

Nursery care is available during our morning worship service for ages 4 and under.
